Presence Of Greatness...

Well I'll be damned if on my daily religious regimen, The Bob and Tom Show, they had an incredible guest on today: legendary singer for Deep Purple, Ian Gillan! The man is as polite and genteel (that spelling looks incorrect) as any middle-aged Brit generally seems to be. He had wonderful stories of his days in both Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. He talked about the Spinal Tap movie and his connection to it. And he talked about doing a duet with Luciano Pavoratti. They talked extensively about Deep Purple's album Machine Head - one of the greatest rock albums ever made. The album contains the massive hits Highway Star, Smoke On the Water, and Space Truckin'. The other four tracks are stellar as well. It is definitely one of the greatest rock albums ever made. Which leads me to an all new, all-time top-5 list. This one'll take some thought, and I request feedback, in fact I demand it. I can only rank the first one. The list is of course subjective, but here we go.---
All-Time Top-5 Classic Rock Albums
The Rolling Stones, Exile On Main Street
The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland
Pink Floyd, Dark Side Of the Moon
Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II (this one can spark debate)
The Doors, L.A. Woman
As easy as making these lists may seem, if one is true to one's self, completely honest, it isn't. It requires a little thought. You understand the parameters, now post your own list.
